The Infinite Fleet Beta will be live on 28th July, 2022.
The United Sol Federation (USF) is an organization dedicated to maintaining peace, security, and the preservation of the human race. Widely revered across the galaxy, the USF is also by far the largest active military force among humanity’s colonized planets. The USF is the major human faction of the universe in Infinite Fleet. Players of the game will play as individual commanders of the USF.
Infinite Fleet is an epic sci-fi massively multiplayer online (MMO) strategy game, where each player takes control of their own fleet of several large spaceships, augmented with scores of small AI-controlled fighters. In Infinite Fleet, players play cooperatively under the overall banner of the United Sol Federation (USF), to fight and defend humanity against the invading alien threat. Players will be able to customize and upgrade their fleet, secure territory, cooperatively battle alongside their friends, and change the history of the universe altogether in a directed narrative.
Infinite Fleet is a PC MMO game, and will be released first on PC. However, we are building the game with cross platform play in mind, and there is a possibility that we may develop it for Mac/Linux, console, and mobile release in the future.
The Infinite Fleet core game does not use and will not be impacted by blockchain technology. Blockchain technology is implemented for the virtual currency of the game used on the P2P marketplace, and for record keeping of the histories of in-game virtual items.
Please find the game manual with the early mechanics and control scheme here.
If you are experiencing issues with your payment not going through, or any other issue with your order, please contact us through the “Contact Us” support form.
Once you have purchased a ship, you would have received a confirmation email of your order. We are still working on the store interface and will add your inventory/order history page soon, please bear with us. Once you have been granted alpha access, you will see the ship you purchased in the game!
The INF token is the official game currency of Infinite Fleet. Similar to the typical “gold” or currency found in many MMO games, INF serves as the medium of exchange for players to purchase virtual items from other players and vendors within the Infinite Fleet game. However, unlike typical game currencies, INF is actually a cryptoasset - meaning that players can transfer it out of the game accounts by sending INF to their own cryptocurrency wallets.
You can use any wallet that supports Bitcoin and the Liquid Network, for example, Blockstream Green.
Once you have INF in your possession, you will be able to use it to bid on items in the game’s P2P marketplace. You will see your INF balance in your Infinite Fleet account and you will be able to bid on or list your items in the P2P marketplace.
INF tokens will be earned by players via participating and succeeding in in-game events and missions. In other words, active participation and playing of Infinite Fleet will lead to the likelihood of more INF being earned by a player.
Players will not be able to buy INF from us. INF is the game currency of Infinite Fleet and it is distributed organically via player in-game participation, or Proof of Participation as we call it. INF will discover its market value organically as players participate in the game’s ecosystem and buy/sell items with each other. In the future, it is possible that INF may be traded on cryptocurrency exchanges, should any exchanges decide to list the token for trading. When that happens, players will have the option of purchasing INF with other cryptoassets via said third party exchanges.
Yes, INF does actually have a limited total supply. A finite sum of INF is issued, and is released slowly over time, via in-game events. This scarcity element of INF is designed to help prevent rampant inflation in the P2P marketplace.
INF tokens are issued on the Liquid Network, a secondary layer or “sidechain” of the Bitcoin blockchain - the longest-standing and most robust blockchain network. The Liquid Network allows BTC to be pegged in and out from the base layer, while allowing for faster transaction times and confidential transactions, making it more suitable for high frequency transactions of assets.
